I have ordered a few different Babkas and this is the best by far. It was moist and the chocolate had the best flavor!!Great packaging and tasteSeemed to be stale to me this time. Ate it anyway.Delivered in a paper bag? Really? This stuff tastes great, but it might be better if it didn’t get squashed. Why not protect it?Great consistency! Wonderful cinnamon flavor. Second time I've bought this.This babka was passable but nothing to write home about. Maybe I am a babka snob but although ok it was lackluster.Delicious!! A slice warmed in the microwave for a few seconds with butter... excellent!!Excellent babka.Lovely product with great cinnamon flavor. Pastry is best immediately after baking and/or if stored properly shortly after baking. Unfortunately despite a next-day ship on the item, it was more than 48 hours before I actually received this lovely babka. Typically the baking-paper the bread was wrapped in and then gently placed in a plastic clam-shell...that would have been okay if it had been delivered next day as expected. Open-ended cellaphane doesn't work....it should have been in sealed shrink wrap. So.....think of a day-old croissant....yeah...dry like that except for the lovely streusel-topped edge. Kind of an expensive exercise all round. While I looked forward to a special treat and wouldn't have minded the cost had the product lived up to expectations....unfortunately through no fault of Sterns (who sell a gorgeous babka)...Amazon failed to deliver their product in optimum condition. Boo Amazon....I was hesitant about buying a loaf thru Amazon and altho I did receive it intact with no issues and it was tasty, I gave it a low mark as its not worth the $20 that I paid for this.It was not nearly as good as the first one we ordered that was in a ring format. That was much fresher and tastier.
