Originally released in 2002 on the Tone Swoon imprint, the set was available for a matter of months before the distributors ceased to exist. NOISE CANDY was a fascinating project that gathered together a host of recordings made by Bill at his various home studios between 1990 and 2000. Featuring 121 tracks, the set comprised six CDs of songs and instrumental music, each CD an album in their own right and entitled variously OLD MAN FUTURE BLOWS THE BLUES, STARGAZING WITH RANGER BILL, SUNFLOWER DAIRY PRODUCT, KING FRANKENSTEIN, CONSOLE and PLAYTIME. Beautifully designed, NOISE CANDY was one of Bill Nelson's most involved projects and one of his most memorable. With copies extremely difficult to find, NOISE CANDY has since gained a legendary status amongst Bill Nelson fans. This Cocteau Discs limited edition reissue restores the album artwork and is presented in the same box format as the original 2002 release.

This is the best purchase I ever made. If you like music, stop, drop, and buy. Just buy!! Don't not buy... but instead buy.I'm not gonna qualify this. I can't try and explain what its like... in putting forth its merits I could have no hope of doing it justice... all you need to know as an adventurous and discerning music lover (which you must be to even be here) is that Noise Candy is 6 mind blowing discs, in a beautiful package with a thick booklet. What's locked inside is a special thing. Its an adventure and it might just change you!You'll want to enshrine it. You'll want to take it out in the middle of the night and run your gangly fingers down its smooth appealing exterior. You'll want to start referring to it as "My precious"... You'll leave your wife for it! You might even leave your OTHER wife for it!! All of these things and more are in store for the lucky purchaser of Noise Candy...Just trust me implicitly and get this before it becomes a lost relic again and the price makes it unobtainable. After all, I've never steered ya wrong before have I?
